TRUSTEES
and volunteers working hard behind-the-scenes are proud to announce
details of Exeter Pride’s return on Saturday 14th
May 2022.
The
Rainbow March with gather from 11:30 at Sidwell Centre for a 12 Noon

choir Spectrum will be opening the afternoon performances.
The
stage will feature a mix of musicians such as local folk duo The
Suthering and spoken word rap artist Mama Tokus. Headliners will be
beatboxer and slam supremo Jasmine Gardosi, and a showcase of drag
performers from around the south west.
There
will also be stalls with local LGBTQ+ organisations and community
groups, a range of local food vendors, and refreshments courtesy of
Bar Nova.
“The
last couple of years have been a financially difficult time for
everyone, including our business partners and sponsors,” says
Committee Chair Tamsin Scott.
“We
have have significantly less money to invest than previous years, but
it is important for our event to be free for everyone to attend, and
have setup a Crowdfunder to help keep Exeter Pride accessible.”

Not
only will the crowdfunder support Exeter Pride 2022, it is also the
only way to guarantee
entry to Exeter Phoenix’s Pride afterparty. Local venue Pink Moon

“It
is vital now that we can come together, be visible, be proud, and
stand in solidarity with those who are currently unable to do so.
We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back; as our
community are what make Exeter Pride the amazing day it is!”
