Volunteer for Exeter Pride 2026
You can now sign up to volunteer for Exeter Pride 2026!
Pride is more than a celebration; it's a powerful moment of visibility, community, and joy, and behind every vibrant parade, every safe space, and every smiling face is a team of dedicated volunteers who make it all happen.
Volunteering at Pride is a chance to meet new people, support a cause you care about, and be part of something truly special.

To run our annual Pride event (Saturday 9th May 2026), we need over 100 volunteers to support on the day and help run Pride safely and smoothly. Whether you're helping visitors feel welcome, carrying our giant flags in the march, collecting donations, stewarding our activity zones, or simply keeping an eye out to ensure everyone stays safe and supported, your presence will make a real difference. You can volunteer all day, or choose from a schedule of shifts between 10am and 7pm.

You can volunteer with friends, family, chosen family, or we’ll pair you up with another steward.

No experience is necessary, just bring your energy, kindness, and commitment to inclusion and we’ll get you trained up before the event. We take the safety and wellbeing of all our volunteers seriously, so we’ll need you to attend Health & Safety training online or face-to-face in advance of the event. All dates and details for these sessions will be sent to you once you've completed the form. Your training sessions will cover key information, our policies and code of conduct, and give you an opportunity to ask us questions. On the day of the event, all volunteers must sign in with our lead stewards and listen carefully to the Health & Safety briefing.
